Services at Femina Physical Therapy – Beverly Hills

At our Beverly Hills location, we provide specialized therapy services that go beyond traditional rehabilitation. Our focus includes pelvic floor physical therapy in Beverly Hills, regenerative shockwave treatments, and personalized strategies for managing persistent pain conditions. Sessions are always one-on-one with licensed physical therapists, ensuring undivided attention and expert care. With flexible session lengths and a discreet setting, Femina Beverly Hills has become a trusted choice for patients who want comprehensive pelvic health and pain therapy close to home.

  1. Pelvic Floor Therapy

The pelvic floor is a complex network of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that play a critical role in bladder, bowel, sexual, and core function. When these muscles are weak, tight, or uncoordinated, patients may experience problems like urinary leakage, pelvic pain, painful intimacy, or difficulty returning to activity after childbirth or surgery. Our therapists use a blend of gentle manual techniques, neuromuscular retraining, and tailored exercise programs designed to restore balance and function. Treatment may include internal and external pelvic muscle evaluation, scar tissue mobilization following C-section or pelvic surgery, breathing and postural integration, core and pelvic stabilization exercises, biofeedback for improved muscle awareness, and relaxation strategies for overactive pelvic floor muscles. The goal is not only to relieve symptoms but also to restore confidence, improve function, and help you return to daily life without discomfort or limitations.

  1. Chronic Pain Physical Therapy

Chronic pain is complex, often involving not only muscles and joints but also the nervous system and emotional well-being. Our team provides comprehensive care for persistent pain conditions connected to pelvic health, orthopedic issues, and systemic concerns. Every treatment plan begins with a detailed evaluation to identify the structural, neurological, and behavioral contributors to your pain. Care may include myofascial release, visceral mobilization, pelvic floor retraining, neuromuscular re-education, shockwave therapy, and practical education on posture, ergonomics, and pain management strategies. We commonly treat chronic low back and hip pain, fibromyalgia, endometriosis-related pelvic pain, post-surgical or post-traumatic pain, nerve hypersensitivity, and TMJ dysfunction. By addressing pain from multiple angles, we aim to reduce symptoms, restore movement, and improve overall quality of life.
